About
Permanent and Semi-Permanent Mold Casting
The gravity permanent and semi-permanent mold process utilizes the force of gravity to control molten metal flow into the permanent mold by either static pouring (from the top) or tilted pouring using a basin with the mold on a slant. Gravity permanent molds produce more accurate castings than shell mold castings.
